VCE goals
are:
To learn who comprises our workforce and to identify their learning needs through focus groups,
surveys and evaluations
To research evidence-based practices
To develop new curricula and training for CMH staff working with under-served populations
To implement innovative and relevant programming
To distribute information in a variety of formats and media including web-based training and
teleconferences for the convenience of our workforce
To offer programs that provide continuing education credits to meet licensure requirements
To analyze the results of new systems transformations in Detroit, Wayne County and Michigan
To stay current and continue evolving into the best system of care possible
